Treatments

Maintenance Massage

This targets any discomforts that may be a developing problem, as well as looking over previous issues and the major muscle groups. Regular sessions allow your body to relax and release tension, even under stress. Each session is tailored towards each individual, therefore there is no specific number of sessions recommended. Anyone that endures repetitive movements on a regular basis will benefit from a maintenance massage; whether that be an office worker or sports person.

Sports Event Massage

The best preparation for a sports event will utilise specific massage techniques to reduce tension, improve circulation and encourage the removal of lactic acid in the muscle fascia. This is essential to keep your muscles in their best condition, and shorten the suitable time for your body's recovery. A pre-event massage will be a fast, light depth application to aid in stretching and warming up the muscles to help prepare for the event. A post-event massage will be much slower, yet deeper, to stretch the tight muscles and lower delayed-onset muscle soreness.
